Sette emozioni per Equipèco
A concert. A live performance of an electronic composition that the author Piero Mottola, created purposely for this event using his special keyboard instrument, Campionatore emozionale E.10.
The succession of sounds and notes that the audience will hear come from a particular source. In fact they come from concrete sounds that are associated with ten different emotions. These emotions start with fear, then calm, passing through agitation, sadness, amazement and joy.
With the Campionatore emozionale E.10 Piero Mottola has been able to obtain several complex emotional paths that are unpredictable, enigmatic and emotionally significant at the same time.
Sette emozioni per Equipèco, litteraly Seven emotions for Equipèco is an abstract electronic piece especially created for seven emotional paths that display a growing contrast and combined potentials, present in the Campionatore emozionale E.10. This midi keyboard, in this case, is programmed to articulate two different sound language orders in real time, that are: the algorithms played by the virtual piano and the emotional algorithms that generate timbric abstractions of the concrete sound that is the original one and is no longer the perceived one.
This composition, like all Mottola's sound research and production aims to invite the audience to make a psychological approach while perceiving the sound.
With his performance, the author intends to create a link between himself and the audience while the sound that is purposely enigmatic stimulates an emotional response in the audience.

was born in Caserta in1967.
He lives and works in Rome.
He is a sperimental musician.
He teaches Sound Design at the Fine Arts Academy in Rome.

Is a synthesis of interdisciplinary expertise emerged from a gene pool from which comes out the idea of a creative versatility. It is also a laboratory-box talent and cutting-edge synergy that becomes contemporary representation and transformation of ideas in order to propose and share a complete multi-faceted experience through the actual dissemination of culture.
